Herbie Khun - "The Voice of The Raptors"
God & The Athlete in 2019s
“Effecting Our Future Generations For Christ”
Herbie Kuhn is known as the "Voice of the Toronto Raptors" and has been the announcer for the team since their inception in 1995. As the in-house Voice of the Toronto Raptors, Canada's only National Basketball Association franchise, his voice is instantly recognizable to any fan who has ever attended a game at the Air Canada Centre. His role is to relay to fans the events happening on-court and Herbie does that with tremendous elan!
In addition to announcing, Herbie is the co-Chaplain of the Raptors, leading the teams' players in a chapel service before games plus conducting Bible studies and supporting them in their personal challenges. He is also Chaplain for the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL, and accomplished master of ceremonies and motivational speaker. His list of talents also includes voice-overs, commercials and freelance sports writing.
Herbie is one of the most gifted evangelists in the nation. It is a regular occurrence that when Herbie speaks at an outreach event, several hands go into the air to signify that someone in the crowd has just accepted Christ as their Saviour.
Herbie has spoken to church groups in virtually every imaginable setting: worship services, men's breakfasts, prayer rallies, golf tournaments, outreach events, youth rallies, retirement homes, schools, sports organizations and more. And he and his wife Stephanie team up and do marriage retreats and conferences.
