Jack Vanderkooy is the President and Chief Executive Officer of DUCA Financial Services Credit Union.
He is recognized as a highly dedicated professional business executive, with proven results in leading a growing, multi-service credit union… increasing asset size from $640 million to almost $1.2 billion during his 8 year tenure as CEO.
He is an impassioned, leading from-the-heart, effective, values-driven leader and an avid life-long learner. Known specifically for taking on boldly, BOTH change and challenge alike, with practicality, lead-by-example and engaging leadership, in all arenas of his life… he continues to inspire those around him to greater heights with ease and ongoing, heart-felt encouragement.

From active membership, advising, leading, many arenas, business, industries and communities benefit and challenge, including church council, non-profits, large-scale property development, residential housing projects, service as a board-member ( Stakeholder Advisory Board, Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario (DICO), President and Executive member (Association of Credit Unions of Ontario (ACUO, Credit Union Executive Society (CUES), Credit Union Managers Association (CUMA) and countless activities in the Canada Netherlands Business & Professional Association (CNBPA), Both Jack and his wife Joan serve on the Board of Governors, for Opportunity International Canada.
For Jack this IS marketplace, workplace ministry defined, daily, on-going AND IN ACTION. Jack and his wife Joan have been married for 34 years, have been blessed with 5 wonderful children and 4 1/2 grandchildren. They reside in Richmond Hill and worship at Community Christian Reformed Church.
