Gary brings extensive leadership experience to Hockey Helps the Homeless with over 25 years in the consumer packed goods industry working with large, global companies such as Cadbury, PepsiCo and Coca-Cola. Between 1997 and 2007, Gary held senior executive roles of increasing responsibility in both Canada and the US - his most recent role was Canadian General Manager, with Cadbury North America.

Gary is co-founder of Hockey for The Homeless and was responsible for leading the organization’s expansion into the Quebec market in 2003. Upon his return from the US in 2007, Gary launched a vision to take Hockey for the Homeless across Canada. Re-named Hockey Helps the Homeless, in 2011, the organization operates in all 7 Canadian NHL cities and is now in the process of expanding to Major Junior markets across the country.

In 2010, Gary made the decision to retire from corporate life, so that he could devote all of his energy, passion and experience to HHTH in his role as President and CEO.
